1 year anniversary....

This last weekend, my wife and I celebrated our 1 year anniversary. We decided we would stay at Buffalo bills at state line, and cruise into vegas. We left friday morning with my parents, and dropped them off at the Las Vegas airport, as they headed to their home in missouri for a vacation, and we stayed in vegas all day Friday. I went to casa fuente and picked up a couple goodies:

Those are Casa Fuente House Cigars, in the corona size. I also wanted to pick up more, but had a tight budget, so I opted not to. One of those smokes is going to a friend of mine in celebration of his 24th wedding anniversary.. and I think the other one will be saved and smoked for my 2nd wedding anniversary. I didn't get to do much in the way of cigar smoking last weekend, but thats ok. I did win a whole $25 on a dollar slot machine, and I found a 16 dollar voucher on the floor of the local outlet mall at state line for the primm resort, which was right near that mall.. so I drove over to the primm resort, and cashed in my free 16 bucks :) All in all, it was a good weekend, and wasn't too expensive. That being said, I can't wait to hit casa fuente and the davidoff store again.

Till next time

Digital Cameras...

Ok, so the wife and I have been looking at Digital Cameras, and we have our eye on the Canon S3 IS... Looks like a good camera, and The price is decent. I don't know much about digital cameras, but everything about this one looks really nice. 6 mega pixels, and a 12x zoom. I can't wait for it.. I love technology! Thats about it for now.. just wanted to share the excitement.. and now Im going to finish this Camacho Liberty.

Consuegras RULE!

Ok, so Ive never bought a bundle of connies, but I gotta say, the few Ive had have been outstanding, and they are DIRT cheap. As you may have seen in a previous post, Ive come to love cheap smokes. Ive already got one $17 box of LVH's on the way, and two boxes at $16/each of Don Elias Robustos on the way from C bid.. I think a couple bundles of consuegra #9 maduros are next!

Juan Lopez NC review

This was a great smoke! Upon lighting it, I immediately noticed flavors of coffee, chocolate and cedar, which continued through the first 3rd of the smoke. As I got to the 2nd third, it changed to a very chocolatey flavor, and continued so till the end. Very nice flavors, very complex, and kept me on my toes. I plan to buy at least one box!

Very GOOD cigar, well worth the $$ if buying by the box. Box price was about $90.00/25 Excellent cigar. Not sure on the age, as it was gifted to me, but I will find out. Great smoke, and I recommend picking a few up!

Really enjoying the cheaper cigars...

Im finding lately, that I am really enjoying the less expensive cigars as a hobby, as opposed to the "premium" smokes. Although I rarely make any purchases, I have decided that any and all future purchases for now will be the cheaper bundle cigars. I enjoy them just as much as the premium smokes, and I get ALOT more for my money... But with all this bundle cigar buying, Im gonna have to buy that endtable humidor I want now :D
Thats all for now, I will be back tommorow hopefully, and I will have a cigar review or 3 for you, my audience, that probably only exist in my mind.

Converting my daily driver to a rockcrawler...

I know, this one is not cigar related, but Ive been thinking about it alot lately... Here's the thing...

My daily driver is a 1988 toyota pickup truck, with a 22r motor... I keep thinking that thing is gotta be a capable wheeler..

I'd only need a few things to make it a nice wheeler:
Front axle
front and rear lift springs
Transmission
Dual transfercases
tires and wheels (Already have the tires, on my current jeep...)
little odds and ends, but altogether, it wouldnt cost me more than about 3 grand to have a capable wheeler with dual transfer cases.. seems logical to me.
Anyway.. I just want to do it, but dont have the money.

Once again starting to run low...

Well, its happened, Ive burned through almost all of the two bundles I bought since my last posting... I have however found a new unknown brand that is really enjoyable. One of my customers gifted me a La Finca Nicaraguan churchill one day.. I smoked it the following day, and it was just outstanding! I plan on picking up a box as soon as my commission check comes in! Im really anxious for the box pass that Im a part of to come my direction, from www.stogiechat.com I can't say enough about these guys! I love that forum, and its just like being part of a family. Im thinking I might take a little trip down to a place called "humidor" thats in Redlands, Ca just to check out his selection.. First real B&M I'll ever set foot into.
