This is driving me nuts...

I really with the life insurance people would call and schedule my medical exam. Ive been witholding myself from cigars, as per the instructions of my insurance broker, and I really want to have some of these nice ISOM and premium NC's Ive got waiting for me.. I'll have to wait... Such is life..

Life Insurance...

Ok, Its been a few days, but Ive been busy. A while back, my wife and I applied for some life insurance a while back, and I never thought this would be such a long drawn out process. At the advice of my broker, Ive stopped smoking cigars altogether, until the medical exam is complete. She did tell me that it wouldn't be an issue, and I was straight forward with her and let her know that I did smoke occasional cigars. Ive got quite a few good ones to smoke, but I REALLY need to get done with this medical exam. I don't have any idea when I will be going in for this medical exam, but its been two weeks now, since Ive had a cigar, and I've got a humidor full of them waiting for me. I've also got a 5er of Saint Luis Rey A's waiting as well.... But NOO I have to wait until the exam is over until I can enjoy one again.. This blows...

Oh well.. I just have to think about my families future, should anything happen to me.. $500,000 is a lot of money LOL...

Thats all for now,

Bombs away....

I am elated at this moment.. I can't believe it... I spend a lot of my spare time at www.stogiechat.com and honestly have made a lot of friends and Great BOTL's there! (BOTL=Brother of the Leaf) I came to work today, only to find a package waiting for me. I open it up, and I see the picture to your left. I got this from a great BOTL over on stogie chat, with no warning, and no advanced notice.. I never knew this hobby would be so much fun, and so addicting at the same time.. I don't smoke THAT many cigars.. Maybe 3 a week, but the collecting of the cigars is the fun part! I love it! And they are some great smokes too!
Thanks Mystery dude.. I will find out who you are!

Wow....

I have to say, the internet is a wonderful place. The cigar smokers community in and of itself is one of the most generous, kind groups I've ever had the pleasure of hanging around with in forums and chat rooms.. Ive been bombarded MANY times, in my short cigar smoking life, with many great packages of cigars, with nothing but a Pay it forward attitude from the ones sending the packages. This means that it gets passed on to me to send some smokes to someone else, instead of the typical "retaliation". I did this recently, and sent out 5 different packages of 6 cigars in each. 3 of them went to cigar smokers that were new to my cigar chat home www.stogiechat.com . The other two went to a couple guys that I'd enjoyed thier banter, and welcoming spirit. I have to say, packaging up these cigars, knowing they would be getting new homes, was actually quite fun. Picking the cigars to send, getting them all packaged up and writing a little note with each one... all of these things are what make cigar collecting and smoking so much fun!

Thats it for now... Maybe later tonight after I watch Wedding Crashers...

Paypal can kiss my BUTT!

Screw paypal and all they stand for. Im an avid cigar lover, as if you couldn't tell. Well, I was going to pay a friend of mine for some smokes he is sending me, and those jackasses froze his account because, in my estimation, they read a cigar forum that he was on, and he mentioned that paypal was ok to send him money through for the cigars, as long as we labeled it as something non-tobacco. I went to send him money, and lo and behold, his account was frozen.. Paypal BLOWS. Time to go close my acount with them. There has to be a better option out there for making payments over the web, without so many friggin restrictions. COME ON..

Boycotter of paypal,

Cigar Smoking

Cigar smoking is a favorite past time of mine, although lately I haven't been able to really enjoy it as much. My wife and I are currently looking at purchasing life insurance, and in order to get a non smokers rate on life insurance, my agent advised me to abstain from smoking them until I get the policy active. This is a real bummer, but alas, my families future is WAY more important than any cigar. That being said, I miss my weekly stogie, but at least I can still look at them in the humidor.

Thats all for now,
